Welcome! Meet Evelyn Evans

Hello! My name is Evelyn Evans, and I am so glad you are here! I am a certified teacher and a Structured Literacy Dyslexia Specialist. I tutor both in-person and online. I work with my students using a combination of Orton-Gillingham techniques, word study, and skill building in the area of reading comprehension.

Experience: I have taught school for the past 25 years in both private and public school settings. For the past five years, I have also served as a one-on-one reading coach both online or in person.

Setting: Tutoring is available both online and in a clean, comfortable home environment designed to minimize distractions and promote focus on learning. This approach allows students and their parents to choose the setting were they feel most at ease.
